Helen was a dear friend of so many members of our community, she will be sadly missed. Her tireless volunteering and dedication were a model for us all. Our condolences to the Orenstein family.

The SBBA Annual Membership Meeting will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Blue Ocean Event Center, Salisbury Beach. The meet and greet will be from 6 PM till 7, with the business meeting immediately following. Our guest speaker will be Philip Winn of Project for Public Spaces (PPS). The Town of Salisbury engaged PPS, a nonprofit planning, design and educational organization dedicated to helping people create and sustain public spaces that build stronger communities, to design the beautiful layout for the beach center. Town Manager Neil Harrington and members of our Board of Selectmen will also be attending. The town's new DPW Director, Lisa Demeo will be introduced to the members and Scholarships will be awarded. We hope you can join everyone!

The Salisbury Beach Betterment Association is pleased to once again announce the availability of scholarships to the children and grandchildren of SBBA members. Applications must be postmarked no later than May 1st 2017 to be considered. Please see the application for specific details and requirements.

The Town’s local TV organization, Salisbury Community TV and Media Center, is seeking your feedback. Please take their survey to help Salisbury evaluate past Comcast and SCTV performance as well as provide input for developing plans for future content and services.

SBBA President Ray Champagne appeared before the Board of Selectmen Monday night to ask that all possible locations for the proposed welcome center be considered before deciding to place it on the Broadway Mall. To read the complete text of the SBBA letter, click here.
